Carliner, S. & Coppola, N. (2011.) Analysis of Five Years of Issues from Leading Peer-Reviewed Publications in Technical Communication. Unfunded project.
This project analyzes the articles published between 2006 and 2010 in IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, Journal of Business and Technical Communication, Technical Communication, and Technical Communication. The analysis specifically focuses on the categories of topics covered, the type of article, the type of research used in research publications, and the most frequently published first authors.
